About Us ... Who runs Wizcrafts?
WIZCRAFTS Computer Services is under the sole proprietorship of Bob "Wiz" Feinberg, an experienced freelance troubleshooter of Microsoft Windows operating systems and networks and a Webmaster at-large.
The rest of this is in the first person.
I am known to my friends, associates and customers by my tradename, "Wiz" Feinberg. "Wiz" has been my professional alias for about three decades.
I have been involved in various aspects of the audio-visual and electronics fields since my teens. I received my computer training, in MSDOS and Windows operating systems, from 1994 through 1995, both through private studies and experimentation.
In late 1995 I became an apprentice to a custom computer builder, learning to build computers from the ground up, installing and configuring operating systems, and performing onsite and in-shop troubleshooting. This training taught me to be a determined troubleshooter-technician, and helped me learn to get along with a variety of stressed-out clientele.
I finally went on my own as a computer troubleshooter in early 1997, doing business as Wizcrafts Computer Services, and have been at it ever since. I've worked with many brand name as well as custom built PCs, curing such ailments as fatal exceptions, virus infections, security leaks, software and hardware conflicts and failures, and operating system corruption. I upgrade components and drivers, perform and explain system maintenance, setup and secure small networks, and troubleshoot Windows networking problems.
I have performed on-site computer and network servicing, in mid-Michigan, for over 10 years, with many satisfied customers and references. I also provide online computer and website consulting services.
